Document Capture – is normally associated with the document scanning and indexing of physical documents. However, the technology can also support electronic fax, multi-function copiers, e-mail and other document import possibilities. Distributed capture allows for remote scanning and centralized image processing.
Forms Recognition – is the recognition of defined data elements during the scanning process to reduce the costs of manual data entry. Instead of keying every data element, an operator will verify questionable data elements that did not pass the recognition threshold. Typical recognition includes; OCR (Optical Character), ICR (Constrained Handprint), BCR (Bar Code) and OMR (Mark Sense)
Workflow Document Processing – is the electronic processing of documents in a rules based or ad hoc routing solution. Instead of creating a physical file and manually passing from one individual to another, the system becomes the transport with complete t6racking and reporting capabilities.
Secure Electronic File Cabinet – is the electronic repository for all documents and data, each cabinet may be configured for the unique search & retrieval requirements of different document and/or department applications. The repository can be accessed from anywhere, anytime based on the assigned user rights.
